Serviced apartments are on the rise. They are becoming more and more popular. It is comparable to staying in a hotel room but better. It is relatively cheaper to stay in a serviced apartment for both long-term and short-term. But what makes them really stand out are the amenities included in the stay.
Service. As the name implies, this is a serviced living accommodation. Housekeepers are scheduled to clean your apartment daily but you can request to have your place cleaned weekly or twice a week or on an as needed basis. It works very much like a hotel. No need to commute long distances because you will be close to your destinations.
Bigger space. You get a whole apartment to yourself. There’s a living room, a dining area, a kitchen and a laundry room. You will not feel like you’re living in a suitcase. You have the space to unwind after a long business trip. There is no need to worry about running out of clothes. A serviced apartment will not leave you feeling like you’re a transient tourist in the city. A bigger space is also very convenient when traveling with a group or your family. A group can comfortably share the space and can divide the costs.
Self-catering. This is the major selling point of serviced apartments. Everything is provided for-from a washing machine to pots and pans. You can do things for yourself. No need to spend money on expensive meals and laundry services.
Cheaper. If you’re staying in a city for three months or longer, serviced apartments are more practical. It comes complete with furnishings and appliance so you don’t have to spend on furniture and appliances needed for daily use. Unlike if you chose to rent an apartment that isn’t furnished where you’d have to spend a lot just to be settle in comfortably in your temporary living place. Serviced apartments are also cheaper than hotels because you are not paying on a daily rate. Although the monthly rates include extra charges for the phone line, cable TV and other utilities, it will still be lower than hotel fees.
